Siblings rivalry.

Siblings rilvary is as old as the days of cain and abel. Growing up, I remember my younger brother and I used to be at each other's throat, it was like we were in a competition, we spent virtually 23.5 hours of the day figthing. It was like he refused to accept a girl was older than him and trust me to aways push it in his face that 4 years gap wasn't 4 days. Immediately my parents come back from work, I'll be waiting by their door to start reporting but no matter how much they handled the case, I was never satisfied and would start again.
So am asking, why is it that this rivalry is always worse when a girl has a boy as her immediate younger one? Or am I imagining it?

And about you not been satisfied with the way the case was handled, I used to feel the same way. Like mum was always on my sisters side, I always felt cheated. lol!

  2. I think it is worse when the girl is older o. My brother and i till today don't see eye to eye. I am older, smaller in size and a girl. I have no right to do some things or say anything as far as he is concerned. But we should be grateful, we have siblings. Some people would love to have someone to call a sister or brother. And @Adesewa, my mum was always on my brother's side too.

    1. It would have been worse but I've learnt to bite my tongue and walk out. I remember last week I called him on phone and he was yelling at me! Something I've never done to my elder bro; I just ended the call.
Yeah, am very grateful I have siblings though I've not forgiven my parents for not giving me a sis. Lol

  3. LOL I had two sisters, one older and one younger (now late). My older sister and I never got along even though I was (and still am) very weak physically, I would still hold her o! Best part... the entire household were on my side *filing nails* ... That's all good memory. It's part of love!
