Colours and what they mean

We all know that colour is a form of non verbal communication. For example when we put on red, it could be associated with love, danger, etc. Today we'll be looking at some colours and what they mean.
1. RED
Red is the color of energy, passion, action, ambition and determination. It is also the color of anger and sexual passion.
Red is beautiful, powerful, strong, pioonering, friendly, warm, initiating, energizing, domineering, persistent, patient, attractive, originating, passionate, violent and brutal.

2. ORANGE
The color orange radiates warmth and happiness, combining the physical energy and stimulation of red with the cheerfulness of yellow.
Orange is spontaneous, bold, daring, optimistic, building, independent, inspirational, outrageous, robust, funny, fearless, adventurous, building and buoyant.

3. YELLOW
Yellow is happy, cheerful, astringent, intelligent, shining, highly communicative, expressive, logical, purifying, orderly, forgiving, self indulgent, pessimistic and overly proud.

4. GREEN
Green is the color of balance and growth. It can mean both self-reliance as a positive and possessiveness as a negative, among many other meanings. 
Green is secure, safe, expansive, sharing, open, flexible, connecting, free, just, balanced, harmonious, efficient family oriented, nature lover, nuturing,envious, selfish, miserly and indifferent .

5. TURQUOISE
Turquoise stands for communication and clarity of mind. It can also be impractical and idealistic.
Turquoise is clear, fresh, focused, youthful, imaginative, transformational, clean, sensitive, changing, rarified, new, victorious, over emotional, lacks communication skills and deceptive.

6. BLUE
Blue is the color of trust and peace. It can suggest loyalty and integrity as well as conservatism and frigidity. 
Blue is tranquil, calm, peaceful, honest, trusting, creative, open, deep, faithful, reliable, accepting, tactful, responsible, caring, orderly, rigid, spiteful, self righteous, predictable, weak and unforgiving.

7. PURPLE
Purple is the color of the imagination. It can be creative and individual or immature and impractical.       
Purple is regal, respected, admirable, humble, intuitive, knowing, together, dignified, valuable, tolerant, connecting, unusual, creative and inventive, psychic and intuitive, humanitarian, selfless and unlimited, mysterious, immature, can be impractical, cynical, aloof, pompous, and arrogant.

8. PINK
Pink is unconditional love and nurturing. Pink can also be immature, silly and girlish.
Pink is abundant, genuine, responsible, compassionate, loving, mature, great, the colour of relationship, considerate, adept, natural, compassionate, understanding, nurturing, romantic, warm, calming, feminine, over-emotional and over-cautious, needy, naive, immature and girlish, lack of will power and lack of self worth.

My favourite colour is purple and I know I'm very guilty of being aloof but pumpous and arrogant? Nah nah!
